Day 1: Arrival – Hotel

You will be picked from the airport and be transferred to your respective hotel in Kampala, where you will relax and have dinner and an overnight (bed and breakfast) at Forest Cottages while preparing yourself to set for the next morning’s safari

Day 2: Lake Mburo National Park

Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and the departure time is at 7 o’clock. Head to Lake Mburo National Park, It’s a very special place every part of it is alive with variety, interest and colour.

It contains an extensive area of wetland and so harbours several species of mammals and birds found nowhere else in Uganda its sculptured landscape, with rolling hills and idyllic lake shores has a varied mosaic of habitats, forest galleries, seasonal and permanent swamps and rich acacia woodland ,and grassy valley which all support a wealth of wildlife.

It lies in the rain shadow between Lake Victoria and Rwenzori mountains at the same time its near the equator the rainfall pattern is bimodal with the long rains occurring you have your lunch en-route in Sanga and after enter into Lake Mburo National Park go straight forward to the boat cruise later in the evening set-off for the nature walks/half birding where you will spot on bird species like pelican birds are abundant Uganda crested cranes are in plenty, butterflies are so numerous and the beauty scenery of Lake Mburo National Park are merverous later return for your dinner and an overnight at Rwonyo camp/Eagle’s Nest

Day 3: Game Drive – Return Journey

Wake up early morning, have your breakfast, set off for an early morning game drive where you will enjoy so many species of animals that are found in the Lake Mburo, which are not found anywhere in other national parks like Defassa, Elands, zebras, Uganda kobs, impala, gazelles, and so many more.

It takes you 4/5 hours. After coming back for your lunch, relax and get ready to set off back home. Reach the equator where the sun passes, it’s a photography delight. Continue to Kampala, catch your late flight back home with memorable moments with enough experience on Uganda’s safari.
