Full Safari Itinerary for 3 Days Amboseli National Park Safari

Day 1: Pick up and drive to Amboseli 

Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel to the Amboseli National Reserve at the foot of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Arrive in time for lunch. Check in at your booked safari lodge, enjoy lunch, and a short rest. After lunch, go for an afternoon game drive in Amboseli for opportunities to spot different wildlife species that reside in the park, including  Lions, cheetahs,  Wildebeest, Giraffes, elephants, and Baboons, among others. Lter return to the llodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Adventure in Amboseli 

Starts with breakfast, followed by a morning game drive in the park. Amboseli offers opportunities such as viewing Large Herds of Elephants, Mt. Kilimanjaro, the Big Five, and visiting Observation Hill, which allows an overall view of the whole park, especially the swamps and elephants. The swamp below Observation Hill hosts many elephants, buffalo, hippos, and a variety of waterfowl like pelican, Egyptian goose, and the contemporary Masai culture and indigenous lifestyle.

After lunch, a game drive follows. An optional visit to a Masai village is available, as this is the home of the Masai people. Here, you learn about their tribal social systems, customs, and the place of the Masai in today’s Africa.

The residents live in their Manyatta, or village, much as they have for centuries, and a visit gives you the opportunity to see the interior of these mud-hut homes, spotless and unadorned, contrasted with the Maasai themselves, bedecked with brilliantly colored beads and cloths. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game drive & Transfer back to Nairobi 

Starts with breakfast, then you leave the lodge with a game drive en route to Nairobi, arriving early afternoon. You will be dropped off at your preferred location(airport or hotel in Nairobi).
