Detailed Itinerary for 13 Days Uganda Tanzania and Kenya Safari
Day 01: Arrive at Entebbe Airport
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport to start your 13 Days Uganda Tanzania and Kenya Safari Tour. You’ll be met by our representative at the airport. You’ll will then be transferred you to your booked Hotel around Entebbe Town. Spend the rest of your day relaxing at the hotel to kill the jetlag. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Ngamba Chimpanzee & Uganda Wildlife Education Center Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the Uganda Wildlife Education Center for a behind-the-scenes experience with the resident animals. Visitors get an opportunity to learn about the wildlife of Uganda, its dynamics, and the ecosystems they live in. After this educational tour at UWEC, drive to the docking site where you’ll be able to take a boat to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary. This Island is one of the few places where chimpanzee rehabilitation takes place.
Upon arrival, you’ll be directed to the visitor’s center where you will be introduced to the Ngamba project, its history, and their plight. Guided by the caregiver enjoy exploring the sanctuary and view them feeding from a raised platform area along the edge of the sanctuary fence. Later board your boat back to Entebbe. Drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Following an early morning breakfast, embark on a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes about 8 to 9 hours through the countryside, arriving in Bwindi at the late afternoon. Lunch will be enjoyed en route to Bwindi.
Arrive at the lodge and check in for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
On the fourth day of this 13 Days Uganda Tanzania and Kenya Safari, you will enjoy the long awaited gorilla trekking. Wake up early at around 6:00 am and enjoy breakfast at the lodge. After, depart the lodge and head to the park headquarters for a briefing session. You’ll be given all the necessary information that you need to have a successful gorilla trekking experience. You’ll then be divided into groups of 8 members each and allocated gorilla families to trek.
You’ll then follow the lead of your ranger guide into the forest to search for the endangered mountain gorillas. Trek deep into the steaming Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to search for the endangered mountain gorillas. You’ll trek in the forest for hours before finally locating these majestic creatures in the wild. After locating the gorillas, enjoy one full hour observing them in their natural habitat. You’ll have plenty of photography and filming opportunities while with the gorillas. After your allocated time with the gorillas elapses, trek back to the park headquarters.
Transfer back to the lodge for a refreshing meal and a short rest. After lunch, visit the local Batwa communities for an immersive cultural experience. You’ll discover their unique ways of life, knowledge of the forest, and enjoy performances. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Depart your lodge in Bwindi and start your journey towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive takes at most 5 hours, arriving in time for lunch. Proceed to your lodge for check-in and lunch. After lunch, go for a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. The boat cruise on Kazinga, is one of the highlights of safaris to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You’ll have an opportunity to witness to wildlife and bird life.
The Kazinga channel is home to one of the highest concentration of hippos in the world, guaranteeing sighting of these majestic animals. You’ll also witness crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and some predators at the shores. Among the bird species that you will spot here are the majestic African fish eagles, Goliath herons, saddle-billed storks, Egyptian geese, different species of egrets, and cormorants among other bird species. Return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth to Entebbe to Nairobi
Wake up and enjoy an early game drive at around 6:30 am and return to your lodge for breakfast before checking out of your lodge. Embark on a transfer to the airstrip and fly to Entebbe for your connecting flight to Nairobi. On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by your Kenya safari guide who transfers you to the hotel in Nairobi. Dinner and overnight in the hotel in Nairobi

Day 7: Nairobi Wildlife Sanctuaries
After leisurely breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be picked up and transferred to Nairobi City for a City tour. Visit two of the most unique animal sanctuaries in the world; David Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe Center for a face-to-face encounter with the endangered Rothschild giraffes. You can climb the feeding point for a chance to give a giraffe a treat on a food pellet under the supervision of a trained staff member. Not only will (he or she) accept your offer; but you may also be rewarded with a kiss! Later after your adventure, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast embark on your journey to Masai Mara National Reserve for a game-viewing adventures. The drive from Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve is about 4 hours through the scenic countryside. You’ll pass through the stunning and scenic Great Rift Valley with a brief stopover to admire the breathtaking views and optional shopping at the curio shops.
Continue with your drive, making another brief stop at Narok Town for refreshments and to use the restrooms before proceeding to Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at the lodge in the afternoon and check-in.
Spend the rest of your day at leisure, enjoying the facilities the lodge has to offer before heading out for a thrilling introductory game drive in the Magnificent Masai Mara National Reserve. After this introductory game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Full Day Safari in Masai Mara Game Drive
After a morning breakfast, depart the lodge with your packed lunch boxes for a full-day game-viewing safari in Masai Mara National Reserve. You’ll explore the Mara plains for opportunities to witness wildlife and birdlife. Expect to encounter the African Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephants) giraffes, hyenas, cheetahs, and wildebeests among others.
Visit various wildlife hotspots in the park. As it near lunch time, take a break for a picnic lunch at a scenic and safe spot. After lunch, continue with your safari in the park. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Masai Mara to Serengeti via Isebania
Today following breakfast, depart your lodge and drive to the Isebania border with packed picnic lunch boxes. Complete the border formalities and thereafter, you’ll be picked up by your Tanzania Safari guide to transfer you to your booked safari lodge in Serengeti National Park. Arrive at the lodge and check in. Spend the day leisurely at the lodge

Day 11: Serengeti Game Drive
Following an early morning breakfast, embark on an unforgettable sunrise game drive in the park. Enjoy the sun sets fire to the savannah as you go in search of big cats on the hunt for their morning meal. After the morning safari and wildlife viewing, return to the lodge and enjoy a short rest and lunch.
After lunch, you’ll spend the rest of the day out on the plains of the Serengeti searching for the Big Five among other animals. As you explore the kopje, you’ll see some of the world’s most iconic wildlife against the open plains and the big sky of Tanzania’s crown jewel.
Return to the lodge after your adventure for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 12: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, check out, and drive through the beautiful high-lying farmland of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive and descend into the crater for a full day exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater with a packed picnic lunch. Ngorongoro is home to a diverse array of animals including elephants, black rhinoceroses, leopards, buffalo, zebras, warthogs, gnu (wildebeests), and Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles. The crater floor is also home to one of the largest lion populations in the world. Later after your safari & wildlife viewing in the crater floor, ascend to the crater rim where your lodge is located for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 13: Ngorongoro to Arusha
After a relaxed breakfast, check out from the lodge and enjoy a final game drive en route to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, transfer to JRO airport for departure.
