Full Itinerary for 6 Days Kenya Vacation Safari

DAY 1. SAMBURU NATIONAL

At 0730 Hrs, pick up from Nairobi hotel and drive to Samburu National reserve. (360 Kms).

Arrive in time for lunch and proceed to your booked accommodation facility. Check in at the lodge or safari camp and enjoy lunch and a short rest. After lunch, you’ll embark on your first adventure experience in Samburu National Reserve.

Samburu is home to large herds of elephants and other members of the African Big Five (lion, rhino, buffalo, & leopard). Besides the African Big Five, Samburu is also home to the several other wildlife species, and perhaps the unique Samburu Special Five, which are dry-adapted animals found in Kenya’s Samburu National Reserve, distinct from the Big Five, and include the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Gerenuk, and Beisa Oryx. After the afternoon game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 2. ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a sunset game drive in the park. You’ll explore diffent areas of the park especially those that you might have missed on your previous game drive. There are plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities as you explore the park. Later after the game drive, return to the lodge for a mid morning breakfast. Refresh and check out of the lodge and drive to Aberdare Mountain National Park.

Aberdares Mountain National Park has a vast indigenous forest home to different bird species and wildlife. Arrive at the park and drive to your booked safari lodge. Chench in at the lodge. You’ll enjoy lunch at the lodge and spend the rest of your day relaxing. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 3. LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Abarders Mountain National Park. Explore this stunning region for opportunities to witness its incredible wildlife and birdlife. ; After the game drive, return to the lodge and enjoy a late breakfast. After breakfast, you’ll depart the lodge with your packed lunch and drive to  Lake Nakuru National park. (215 Kms).

Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park and drive to your booked safari lodge. Check in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 4. EARLY MORNING GAME DRIVE & TRANSFER TO MASAI MARA

Start your day with an early morning breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in Lake Nauru National Park. Lake Nakuru National Park is a popular destination for bird watching in Kenya. This safari area is popular for its millions of pink flamingos that flood the shores of the Lake, painting it pink. Besides flamingos, this area is also home to several other bird species, especially water birds.

Lake Nakuru is also home to different wildlife species, including rhinos, cheetahs, buffalo, wildebeest, and zebras, among others. You’ll enjoy witnessing different species on your game drive before returning to the lodge. Refresh at the lodge and depart with your packed lunch. Drive to the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve where your next adventure awaits. Arrive in the late afternoon and check in at your lodge.

DAY 5. MASAI MARA

Today, you’ll spend your day exploring the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara National Reserve is renowned for its incredible wildlife, especially the African Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, & elephant) and the famous wildebeest migration. You’ll embark on a full-day game drive inthe  Masai Mara National Reserve for opportunities to witness different wildlife species. Lunch will be enjoyed between the game drives at a picnic site within the park.

DAY 6. MASAI MARA To NAIROBI

Breakfast is at your lodge, depart and drive back to Nairobi. Drop off at your Nairobi hotel. (B)
