Ngorongoro Crater at 2.286m is the largest unbroken caldera in the World.
The jewel in Ngorongoro crown is a deep Volcanic Crater, about 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area.2000 feet below the rim. The Crater floor is dotted with watering holes and shelters almost 30,000 animals in an area naturally enclosed by the walls of the volcano. This is the only Park where the Black Rhino could be spotted, famous too for Buffalo, Cheetah, Lion, Hyena, Hippo, Zebras, Elephants, Wildebeest, and many more of Africa’s most spectacular game animals.

Full Safari Itinerary
Day 1 : The Safari begins in Arusha City to Ngorongoro Highlands Estate.
meet at shuttle stop or in Arusha City and transfer to our office. Welcome and safari briefing 3pm transfer Arusha via the Rift Valley escarpment, excellent views of Lake Manyara National Park and continue to Ngorongoro Highlands on the slopes of Mount Oldeani Arrival about 18h30 Accommodation at Ngorongoro Highlands Estate Meals included: dinner
Day 2 :
Wake up early, breakfast at 06h30am. Depart at 07.00AM ( drive ~30minutes ), enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, have a first glance of a fantastic view of the Ngorongoro Crater at the crater rim view site, continue descent onto the crater floor, game drive on the crater floor. This is the only Park where, Black Rhino could be spotted. packed lunch at a picnic site, and continue game drive until late afternoon. You are allowed in the crater for a maximum of 6hrs.
( NOTE: The park gate on the crater rim ascent closes at 6pm sharp )
Afternoon return to your overnight, if time permit short nature and coffee farm walk.
