Game Viewing in Uganda

Uganda safaris offer a vast diversity and the game viewing parks are home to no less than 13 species of primates. The spectacular landscape, Mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, and both black and white colobus monkey makes the game viewing in Uganda really exotic.

The game viewing is though more famous for spotting the primates, there are a good variety of other animals that can be spotted that includes leopards, majestic Elephants, mysterious tree-climbing Lions, and magnificent Giraffes.

Few major national parks:

Queen Elizabeth National Park:   The game drive in the Queen Elizabeth national park includes plenty of elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, antelope species, the rare giant Hogs, leopards and while a move through the woodland tree-climbing lions can be spotted.

Kidepo Valley National Park:  The national park is home to 80 different species of mammals which includes Burchell’s zebra which are the tallest of all Zebra species and found only at Kidepo and in Lake Mburo National park.

Murchison Falls National Park:   The iconic park has a high concentration of animals like Uganda kob, Cape buffalo, warthogs, waterbucks, elephants, hartebeest, as well as some carnivores like lion, leopard and spotted hyenas.

Lake Mburo National Park: The open grasslands of the national park showcases a good number of buffaloes, zebras, leopard, Burch ell’s zebra and Eland together with various species of antelopes.
